Governor’s Volunteerism and Service Awards

The Governor’s Volunteerism Awards recognize the significant contributions of Virginia citizens to the life and welfare of the Commonwealth and its people. These awards are presented by the Governor’s Advisory Board on Service and Volunteerism, The Virginia Service Foundation and the Office on Volunteerism and Community Services, on behalf of the Office of the Governor. Nominations are accepted October through December. A special ceremony is held annually in April to recognize these amazing volunteers.

Profiles of the 2019 Governor’s Volunteerism Award Winners can be found on the Virginia Service website.
